I want to do brain storming with you guys to get check list for datacenter. Please share your ideas.

Here is some of my suggestion.

Offer UPS/Backup Power/Generator
Remote Management
Bandwidth providers
Quality support
Toll Free or phone support

Of course price has to be affordable.

Access policy (incl. security checks when entering the datacenter)
How does the suites/cages look like; are they clean
How many carriers are available in the building

Physical security
Fire detection and suppression systems
Pest control system
Dust control system
Water detection and leakage precautions
Cooling and air distribution
Layout of racks
Layout of air delivery and return vents
Airflow in the rack (Use of blanking panels)
Sub-floor pressure
Cable cutouts
Multiple utility feeds, UPS, Backup generator..
Grounding and bonding, Input power quality
Telecom/Data communication

cost of cross connects.
cost of phone/land line.
crash cart or bring your own gear.
internet access for your lap top or do you have to go through your own switch.
will they accept server shipments for you.
are you required to carry insurance for the data center.

Pest control system? I hadn't thought of that. I suppose that can be very important if you don't want to have little rodents chewing up your cables.
