oh, i apologize. i should have explained better. what i meant was the one advantage of public cloud taht a lot of people seem to quote is that they are safer form hacking. since the cloud hosts have to deal with N number of companies at one time and not just your company, they have put up stringent security measures to keep all the data secure. how is, in spite of all this, the data vulnerable to be hacked? and as a cloud host, is there any way to detect and prevent hacking ?
Any system connected to public is not secure, but security/infra team should design to prevent attacks. US military is considering cloud computing. Please check the following thread.
