How do we choose the alogrithm?

When you decided to write some routing software what alogorithm you would choose it.

It all depens on your harware and what you want to do?. if you want to route the packtes faster use MPLS algorithm, but there are some disadvantages too. Just check what you need and then go from there.

That is correct for fast routing mostly use MPLS. Since it doesn't check the header all the time. It works like link list.
