Extreme Networks Router Admin Needed (Atlanta, GA)
 

Seeking network engineer/admin with minimum 2 years management experience and verifiable references using Extreme Network 6808 routers. Will manage a pair of Extreme Network 6808s for hosting company in Atlanta. Most work can be done remotely.

Must have extensive knowledge of TCP/IP and routing protocols, such as BGP, RIP, OSPF, EIGRP. Knowledgeable with DNS/DHCP, VRRP, and HSRP, VLANs, and InterVlan routing.

Solid ability to mange all layer 2/switching and layer 3/routing with multi-honed bandwidth. Experience working with upstream providers.

We are not seeking programmers, developers, designers, etc. This is for network routing only.

Other Pluses:
Network Security (we use TippingPoint, SonicWaLL, snort and McAfee devices)
Load balancing (We use Alteon and Foundry)
Strong Linux skills
Experience with Foundry BigIrons
